I just got a letter and a post-card from Sheri As some of you might know she is finishing her basic air-force training ([link]) and she is coming home soon.

The pink written letter said …

“Hello every one. I miss you and I think about you every day. Things have been very hard for me the past few weeks. We are all day out under the blistering sun exercising with really tight uniforms. Some times the drills requite us to dive in and out of the water wearing them and then my feet get covered with sad from top to bottom. We have to carry our m16 rifles all day with us and the worst thing is that we have to also carry at least four magazines along with it. I don’t get why we need carry magazines with us but at least they provide good reading material. Last night I decided to buy my own mask. Its not very good for the gas exercises but at least it doesn’t mess my hair as the standard issue gas mask does. Well, I have to go now. I will see you all as soon as I come back.
